About Marcos
I have been a complementary therapist since 2008 and have a wide range of therapies and techniques that can help you to unwind and reach homeostasis (stable equilibrium). This ranges from massage, reflexology, polarity therapy and aromatherapy.
With each therapy there are a number of techniques that I can help you with - for example, myofascial release for muscle tightness or manual lymphatic drainage for people with lymphoedema or post surgery, scar work. I am happy to discuss with you your particular needs or requirements.
Additionally, I have over fifteen years of experience working in palliative care, which has helped inform my work with all people and to better understand how our health and wellbeing can be achieved more effectively.
My sessions are unique and deeply relaxing and anyone can benefit from them. I’m working at Helios Centre in Holborn on Saturdays from 10am - 5pm and Wednesday evenings 6pm - 8pm. The best way to book a session is to go to my website www.magnumhealing.com where you’ll find an online booking form and the prices. I operate a sliding- scale price range starting from as little as £40 for a one hour session. You can also reach me on marcos@magnumhealing.com or 07956645182

Therapies Marcos offers
MASSAGE THERAPY
I offer a hands-on health practice that involves manipulating the body’s soft tissues—such as muscles, tendons, ligaments, and connective tissue—to promote relaxation, reduce body tension, and support overall physical and mental well-being.
Massage therapy can be used to:
Relieve muscle tension and stiffness
Reduce stress and anxiety
Improve blood and lymph circulation
Support injury recovery and improve flexibility
Promote relaxation and better sleep
Massage therapy is considered a complementary or integrative therapy. It’s often used alongside conventional medical care, and in some cases recommended by healthcare providers for pain management or rehabilitation. If you have ongoing treatment for a specific medical condition, I recommend you get permission from your specialist and we can then discuss this at the beginning of your first session.
AROMATHERAPY
Alongside traditional massage, I also offer aromatherapy, using a personalised blend of essential oils according to each individual’s specific needs.
REFLEXOLOGY
Reflexology is a complementary therapy based on the idea that specific points on the feet, hands, and sometimes ears correspond to different organs and systems of the body.
As a reflexologist I use gentle to firm pressure to these points (called reflexes). Each reflex is believed to be linked through the nervous system or energy pathways to a particular body part. Stimulating these points is thought to encourage relaxation, improved circulation, and balance in the body.
Common issues that reflexology can help with:
Stress and anxiety
Sleep problems
General relaxation and wellbeing
Reflexology is not a medical treatment and doesn’t diagnose or cure diseases.
POLARITY THERAPY
Polarity Therapy is a holistic, complementary therapy that aims to balance the body’s energy flow to support physical, emotional, and mental well-being. It was developed in the mid-20th century by Dr. Randolph Stone, an osteopath and chiropractor.
Polarity therapy is based on the concept that life energy flows through the body in positive, negative, and neutral poles. When this energy becomes blocked or imbalanced, discomfort or illness may occur. The therapy seeks to restore balance by working with these energy patterns.
Polarity therapy usually combines several approaches
Energy-based bodywork using light or moderate touch on specific points of the body. Touch may be gentle (hands resting) or more active, depending on the client’s needs
Stretching and movement. Simple yoga-like stretches to help energy flow more freely
What it’s used for:
People seek polarity therapy to help with:
Stress and tension
Fatigue and low energy
Emotional imbalance
Overall wellbeing and relaxation
Polarity therapy is considered a complementary therapy.
Although there is limited scientific evidence supporting energy-based claims, some people find it helpful for relaxation, stress reduction, and body awareness. It should not replace conventional medical care.
